Dr Aruna Muthumala

Dr Aruna Muthumala obtained his MBBS in 2000 and has been working as a Specialist since 2011. His Specialist training was initially in Sri Lanka and then in Peninsula Health in Victoria. He worked as a Specialist in Portland District Health Victoria for 5 years from 2013 to 2017.

Since 2017 Dr Aruna Muthumala has been a Senior Staff Specialist at Royal Darwin Hospital and Darwin Private Hospital. He provides both in-patient and out-patient care at both campuses, Royal Darwin and Darwin Private Hospitals.

He is a local examiner for the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. He is well experienced in a wide range of medical conditions which helps to provide excellent clinical care.

He is a Lecturer at the Flinders University Medical Programme and is also heavily involved in the supervision, training, and medical education of Doctors at the Royal Darwin Hospital.

Dr Muthumala is a specialist in Acute and Internal Medicine.
